Laura Kong:
Quilter Laura Kong created this lovely raggy quilt with my Let it Snow flannels! You can see more photos of it on her blog here: adventures of a quilting diva. Laura says, "This was actually part of a guild challenge to use your panel and coordinating fabrics and there were many outstanding quilts and wearables. What fun you must have painting all your wonderful things! It shows in your work. I enjoyed looking at all the different things you've done."

Quilter Robin Grube also used my Let it Snow flannels as part of the Redlands, CA guild challenge, creating this lovely and unique kaleidoscope with them!

This is one of my newest endeavors - paper piecing! I have to confess that I have not been the best of machine quilters until I recently discovered this SIMPLE and PAINLESS way to piece fabrics! I have been using Carol Doak's instructions and thanks to her I'm not pulling out my (graying) hair!

The sashing and the light colored backgrounds in the Flying Geese design are my designs from my 2005 Pumpkin Hollow fabric collection for Clothworks.

This was so much FUN to put together that I'm contemplating my next machine project. In between, I'm hand appliqueing Barb Adams and Alma Allen's Home Sweet Home quilt. You have to check out their work from Blackbird Designs. I think I've found a couple of kindred spirits in these two wonderful designers. Putting them together with some of Julie Golimowski's architectural fabrics (Northcott) which she kindly shared, this quilt is going to be a treasure to me. Julie is working on the Home Sweet Home quilt at the same time I am. We can't wait to compare what we've each done when we're finished!

I'm looking forward to seeing (and uploading) all of the creations YOU have made with my fabrics. Quilts, handbags, costumes, crafts....please send pictures!

Holly Knott:
I've been wanting to make *something* with Mom's fabrics for quite some time. Yesterday while admiring some vintage Halloween postcards online, I was inspired to design and make my own Halloween silhouetted witch wallhanging. The batik moon and dark batik that I used for the witch aren't Mom's fabrics, but the rest are from her 2005 Pumpkin Hollow fabric collection. I free-form cut the leaves, but sketched out the witch first, and used a plate to trace the moon!

This is just a Photoshop quilt design, not an actual quilt (yet!), but when I saw Mom's Coffee Break panel I thought, "That quilt has to be round!" So imagine this as a nice round tablecloth, or tabletopper, for your cafe table!
